The thing the official API simply cannot do
The WhatsApp Business API does not support group chats. Not partially, not with limitations — at all. For a lot of businesses that single fact rules out every platform built on the official channel, because groups are where the actual work happens.
Because Touchpoint connects an ordinary number, groups behave like any other conversation: they sync, they are searchable, they can be assigned to a person, and your team can talk privately inside them without the group seeing.

Why can’t API-based tools do this?
The WhatsApp Business API has no group messaging capability. Any platform built on it inherits that limitation.
Can I create groups or add participants?
Group creation and participant management are not in the product today. You can read, reply, assign and organise existing groups.
