The gap we kept seeing

Roughly a hundred million people in the United States use WhatsApp, and the share is far higher in communities that do business internationally. If your customers are importers, travellers, overseas buyers, patients arriving from another country or families spread across borders, WhatsApp is not a secondary channel. It is the channel.

And yet the way most teams handle it has not changed: one phone, passed around, or a handful of reps each running the business from their personal number. Nobody knows who replied. Nothing is measurable. When somebody leaves, years of relationships leave with them.

The software that exists mostly points somewhere else. American shared-inbox tools are built around email and treat WhatsApp as an afterthought. WhatsApp-native platforms are built for markets where the channel is already assumed, and they price per seat — which charges you for the exact thing a shared inbox is supposed to enable.

What we decided to do differently

• Flat pricing with unlimited team members. Adding someone to the inbox should never be a budget conversation.
• Work on the number you already have. No migration, no new number for customers to learn, no approval queue.
• Be honest about the trade-offs. Including the ones our competitors leave off their websites. You can read ours on the security page.
• Build an inbox, not a megaphone. We do not do bulk sending. It is the fastest route to a banned number and the worst thing we could sell you.

Where we are

Touchpoint is the US home of a product that has been running in production since 2026, handling real message volume for real teams — hundreds of thousands of messages synced, with media, voice notes and full history. We are a small team and we answer our own support.
