Legal
Terms of service
What we provide, what we ask of you in return, and how either of us can end the arrangement.
Draft — pending legal review. These terms reflect how we intend to operate, but they have not been reviewed by counsel and must be before launch.

1. The agreement
By creating a workspace you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
2. What we provide
A hosted shared inbox for the WhatsApp numbers you connect, with the features described on this site for the plan you are on. We will make reasonable efforts to keep it available and to warn you before changes that materially reduce functionality.
3. Your account
You are responsible for your credentials, for the people you invite, and for what they do in your workspace. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Touchpoint to:
- Send unsolicited bulk or cold outreach to people who have not contacted your business.
- Send unlawful, fraudulent, harassing, or deliberately misleading content.
- Connect a number you do not own or are not authorised to operate.
- Attempt to breach, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.
We may suspend a workspace that does these things. We would much rather email you first, and normally will.
5. WhatsApp and third parties
Touchpoint is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by WhatsApp LLC or Meta Platforms, Inc.
Touchpoint connects your number as a linked device. Your use of WhatsApp remains subject to WhatsApp’s own terms, and WhatsApp may restrict or suspend a number for reasons outside our control — particularly where recipients block or report it. We describe this plainly on our security page. You accept that we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to a third-party network we do not operate.
6. Your data
Your conversations and content remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to host, process and display them so the service works. Our handling of data is described in the privacy policy. You can export your data at any time.
7. Plans, billing and trials
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Trials run for the stated period and do not require a card up front. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period; we do not pro-rate partial months. If we change prices, existing customers get at least 30 days’ notice.
8. Ending it
You can close your workspace whenever you like. We may end this agreement for a material breach of these terms, or for non-payment after notice. On termination you can export your data during the wind-down period described in the privacy policy.
9. Warranties and liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties, and our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
10. Changes to these terms
We will notify account owners by email before material changes take effect. Continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept the revised terms.
