Compare vs Cooby
Touchpoint vs Cooby: the honest version.
Cooby is built for an individual rep working their own WhatsApp inside the browser. Touchpoint is built for a team sharing business numbers. They solve genuinely different problems.
How Cooby describes itself: A Chrome extension that layers a sales workspace and CRM sync on top of WhatsApp Web, aimed at sales reps and RevOps.
Choose Touchpoint if
The number belongs to the business, not a person
If several people answer one business line and you need assignment, ownership, tickets and response-time reporting across the team, that is a shared inbox — and Cooby is not one. Our history and record stay with the company when a rep leaves.
Choose Cooby if
Each rep works their own number, inside WhatsApp Web
Cooby has the sharpest sales workflow in this category and lives inside the WhatsApp Web tab your reps already keep open, with strong HubSpot and Salesforce sync plus SOC 2 and GDPR compliance. For individual contributors who do not want a separate platform, it is a good fit.

Comparison pages written by vendors are usually worthless because they only list what the vendor wins. Ours marks every row where Cooby is genuinely the better product.

Questions
Touchpoint vs Cooby
Could we use both?
Some teams do. Reps keep a personal productivity layer on their own number while the business lines run through a shared inbox. If you only want one, the question is simply whether the numbers belong to individuals or to the company.
Does Touchpoint need a browser tab open?
No. Once a number is linked it stays connected on the server, so messages keep syncing whether or not anyone has a browser open. A Chrome extension is only working while the rep is.
